Laura Dwyer Schlecte
Laura brings over 40 years of real estate experience and deep community involvement to everything she does. As the Broker/Owner of Thinking Real Estate, she’s known for her creative approach, strong communication skills, and unwavering commitment to helping clients achieve their goals.
What truly sets Laura apart is her ability to see every client as an individual—with unique needs, goals, and dreams. Beyond real estate, Laura is also the owner of Orange Door Properties and The Theodore Event Center, and co-owner of Think Jackson. She has served her community as a Jackson City Councilperson and is a nationally recognized real estate educator and trainer, working with the National Association of REALTORS® and Prudential Real Estate Affiliates.
Jacqueline Austin
Jacque is the kind of person who turns big ideas into bold results. With a lifelong background in real estate and a passion for her hometown of Jackson, Michigan, she brings unmatched energy, organization, and creativity to every project she takes on.
Starting in her early teens in her family’s real estate business, Jacque has grown into a dynamic leader known for her ability to manage complex projects with precision and heart. Whether she’s coordinating a large-scale event or guiding clients through a transaction, her attention to detail and commitment to excellence shine through. If Jacque is involved, you can be sure it’s going to be done right—and done well.
Jacque wears many hats in the Jackson community. She’s a licensed agent with Thinking Real Estate, co-owner of Think Jackson, Director of Operations and Urban Development for Orange Door Properties, and Event Director at The Theodore Event Center. Her love for Jackson shows in her leadership roles with Jackson's Downtown Development Authority, the Hot Air Jubilee, and Jackson Young Professionals. Jacque holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College.
